Many Gen Z travelers are choosing their vacation spots for their Instagrammability. According to a Nixplay study, 38% of Gen Z travelers pick their travel destination based on how picture-worthy it is, while 29% say they have gone to extreme lengths to take a photo for social media. YPulse research shows that’s not the only way Instagram and others are influencing travel: 26% of 13-36-year-olds say that seeing posts about places on social media influences where they want to take trips.
