Millennials care less about patriotism, religion, and having children than previous generations. The Wall Street Journal and NBC News found that since 1998 the overall number of Americans who rank patriotism as “very important” has dropped nine points, religion 12 points, and having children 16 points. These dips are being driven by Millennials: Nearly double the number of those over the age of 55 ranked both patriotism and religion as very important to them when compared to 18-38-year-olds. (WSJ)
