Guacamole orders hit a record high when Chipotle’s TikTok #GuacDance challenge went viral. Over the course of six days, TikTokers created over 250,000 videos which received over 430 million video starts. To meet the demand generated by the digital campaign, the fast-causal franchise had to mash 430,000 pounds of avocados to produce more than 800,000 sides of guac on National Avocado Day alone.
