BuzzFeed’s live show offers an experience for both at-home viewers and in-person attendees. The first installment of the variety show Internet Live featured talent ranging from Lil Nas X to Bill de Blasio and blended expert panels, comedy skits, musical performances, and more. The first segment wasn’t open to the public to experience in-person, but is being distributed across social platforms, YouTube, and BuzzFeed. Next time, they’ll be selling tickets as well as hoping to team up with a streamer or network post-show for wider distribution. (Digiday)
