Gen Z shoppers want digitally-infused, in-person experiences. Ubimo found that eight in ten Gen Z look forward to shopping IRL and that two-thirds want to interact with products in person before purchasing them. But brands that went beyond stocking product saw the biggest lifts among the young demo. Specifically, Amazon’s 4-Star stores, Everlane, Casper, and Warby Parker—all of which focus on experiences over sales—had an average response improvement of 45% compared to traditional retailers.
