Nostalgia for the ‘90s is taking over Toyland, starting with a new Tamagotchi. Bandai is bringing a new and improved version of the toy to shelves this summer with new features like a “Daycare drop-off feature” that could make the virtual pets less prone to dying (‘90s kids will remember). But insiders say there’s room for more toy revivals: the vintage seller behind Tons-of-Toys says they’ve seen a “strong rise in interest in toys from the 1990s,” from Power Rangers to Polly Pockets (which recently inspired a makeup palette).
