College kids are rediscovering their parents’ era of music. According to Spotify data, 18-24-year-olds are truly the Genreless Generation: they stream more playlists every day and discover more genres in general, compared to older demos. And though they’re discovering newer artists like Normani and Doja Cat the most often, they’re frequently streaming the Grateful Dead, Selena, Tiffany, and more for the first time, as well.
