Kids talk to their smart speakers every day. Four in ten families have smart speakers, and according to Common Sense and Survey Monkey, 50% of parents of two-to-eight-year-olds say their kids use the device daily. And although more than half use their smart speakers to play music, many kids are asking Alexa to do more than play “Baby Shark”: 43% get help with their homework, 12% chat with them for fun, and 10% ask for jokes.
