Cartoon Network's new app rewards young users for watching their shows. The Arcade app includes mobile games based on popular shows like Steven Universe and Adventure Time, and they’re meant to be played while watching them. When the automatic content recognition feature hears the show playing, characters and other collectibles are unlocked. A Cartoon Network explains that “it’s the perfect balance of what that second screen could be.” (Kidscreen)
