Foot Locker is making major investments in online companies to win over young consumers. Their latest deal was in kids’ apparel company Rockets of Awesome, giving the digital-first company a presence in their stores as well as helping them open a standalone location. Foot Locker’s CEO says investments like this one are part of an overall strategy “to tap into the capabilities and talent of innovative and unique brands” and to connect with “the evolving youth culture.” (CNBC)
