Millennials are more open about their finances before getting hitched than other generations. According to SunTrust and The Harris Poll, 53% of 18-34-year-olds discuss their finances with their partner before they get married and 43% also disclose their debts. Those figures are higher than any other generation, and it’s no wonder. Young adults are getting married later in life, so they’re walking down the aisle with a lot more financial baggage (assets and debt) than previous generations. (CNBC)
