McDonald’s latest marketing campaign resurfaces an old meme to make a point. It turns out Bad Luck Brian’s real name is Kyle, and even though his yearbook photo may have been unfortunate enough to become a viral meme, he’s lucky enough to score a TV spot with McDonald’s. In the spot, Kyle wins a Big Mac, thanks to the fast food chain’s new “Trick. Treat. Win!” game. But not everyone is lovin’ their attempt to tap youth culture, with one Redditor writing, “10 years ago this ad would’ve been good.” (AListDaily)
