Evangelical Millennials are creating new, progressive congregations. New churches like the Block Church are appealing to the Diversity Tipping Point generation more than the predominantly white denominations of the past, while their values are more liberal-leaning than their predecessors. But they’re also “eschewing worldly politics,” with an unwillingness to align with one political party over another, and saying they are theological conservatives, not cultural ones.
