France just banned smartphone use at school. Lawmakers decided that any student under 15-years-of-age either has to leave their phones at home or turn them off for the duration of the school day. And it’s not just smartphones; tablets, computers, and any device that connects to the internet is off-limits. Sixty percent of 13-36-year-olds told Ypulse they’re addicted to their phones, and France has been leading the way for legally stemming the tide of that trend. (The Verge)
