A virtual and augmented reality TV series is in the works at Nickelodeon. Kids can enter the world of a video game and follow the members of a quirky family during and after their in-game adventures. The series will leverage “real-time full body and facial performance capture” to create the immersive experience that “connects with kids and their passion for video games,” according to one Nickelodeon executive.
