Eighty-six percent of Millennials would choose a lower salary to work at a company with values that align with their own. That’s compared to just 9% of 54-72-year-olds who say the same. LinkedIn found that, even though salary may be a top reason for 22-37-year-olds to choose a job, there are other deal breakers. Workplace culture ranks high for Millennial employees, with 70% saying that they wouldn’t work at a top company that was known to have a bad culture. They’re also opting for benefits over perks in the long-term; in other words, PTO is more important to them than ping-pong tables. (CNBC)
