Spectacles are back and according to Snap Inc., better. It was over a year ago the video-recording sunglasses made its bold debut, popping up in vending machines across the country to much fanfare. After is initial marketing push, however, demand fizzled leaving behind an excess of inventory that made headlines. Retooled to be easier to use and to appeal to an “audience beyond devoted techies,” the new version of Spectacles began selling yesterday on the Snap website for $150. (The Wall Street Journal)
