Automakers need to keep Millennials’ pets in mind when planning vehicle design, according to a survey from Volvo. Thirty-eight percent of Millennial pet owners worry about having their dogs in the car, compared with 24% of pet owners overall. Many leave their dogs behind when they drive because they don’t know how to secure their dog safely, and they’re asking car companies to come to Fido’s rescue: 71% of Americans say vehicle manufacturers should add more “dog safety features.” (MediaPost)
