Snapchat is live-streaming snippets of the Olympics for the Post-TV Gen. The app is notifying signed-up users of when they go live with behind-the-scenes glimpses of athlete’s down-time and actual footage from competitions. The move shows the strides that sports streaming is making to appeal to cord-cutters, even with traditionally cable-only events like the Olympics. It’s also a good reminder that social networks are getting in on the streaming wars, too. (Mashable)
