However, a lack of sex-ed courses across the country—and a gap in curricula covering porn—means teens’ skewed perceptions are largely ignored. An Indiana University study found that half as many parents thought their 14-18-year-olds had seen porn than actually had—underestimating their teens’ viewing by as much as tenfold. (NYTimes)
