Budweiser has lost its crown as the “King of Beers,” dropping to the fourth best-selling beer brand in the U.S.—according to Beer Marketer Insights.

Budweiser has lost its crown as the “King of Beers,” dropping to the fourth best-selling beer brand in the U.S.—according to Beer Marketer Insights. UBS data shows Millennials are less likely to recommend Budweiser than other generations; their preference for wine paired with their love of craft beer over major brews could contribute to their waning interest in the iconic brand. Budweiser last had its heyday as the number one brand in 2001 but was beat out by Miller Lite and is continuing to lose market share to other brands. (Business Insider)
