Teens are still choosing Snapchat over Facebook and Instagram. RBC Capital’s latest social media survey reports that when asked which social network they would keep if they were “trapped on a deserted island” and could only have one, 44% of 13-18-year-olds chose Snapchat, compared to 24% for Instagram, and only 14% for Facebook. Teen Snapchat users were most likely to say messaging is the most important feature in the app, easily beating out Stories and Discover. It looks like Snapchat is winning this round with Gen Z.
