Facebook has its eye on “group Facetime” apps. Houseparty (which we said to keep an eye on last year) and Fam are both popular video chatting apps with one million users apiece—Fam reportedly accrued theirs in less than 12 days. Facebook may be gathering intel—they posted earlier this year asking teens who use Houseparty to visit Facebook HQ to take a survey. Since we know they’re not afraid to copy the competition (*cough* Snapchat *cough*), a new feature, or acquisition, may be in the works. (Recode, The Memo)
