A village in Indonesia has gotten a makeover to turn into an Instagrammable destination for young travelers. The “Rainbow Village” underwent renovations last month that involved smearing rainbow paint on every available surface in order to attract tourists—and it’s working. The city’s hashtag (#kampungpelangi) already has 2,791 posts, and visitors are mentioning they saw it on social media before visiting. Considering Millennials’ current obsession with Instagrammable events and locales, the colorful spot could continue to garner attention. (Business Insider)
