Ypulse’s Genreless Generation trend found that Gen Z and Millennials are taking a more fluid approach to gender and sexual orientation. Watson, who is known for promoting gender equality, commented, “The first acting award in history that doesn't separate nominees based on their sex…indicates that acting is about the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes.
