Can Snapchat be the new cover letter? To hire young recruits, McDonald’s Australia is using “Snaplications:” a Snapchat lens that imposes the chain’s uniform on users and gives them 10 seconds to apply for a position. Afterwards, users receive a reply to a career site to complete the application process, but McDonald’s says the snap will be their time to shine. Last year, JPMorgan also leveraged Snapchat to recruit Millennials, launching ads on Snapchat's “Graduation Live Story.” (Mashable)
