Milk Makeup is going genderless to show there’s more than one way for men to wear makeup. CoverGirl and Maybelline have both incorporated “boy beauty” into marketing, tapping male beauty influencers with aspirational, “highly contoured” looks. But Milk Makeup’s new “Blur the Lines” campaign (which feels straight out of our Genreless Generation trend) features both men and women, and thinks “outside the boxes of traditional masculinity.” Its line focuses on easy-to-use, accessible products, ideal for guys who are just learning how to put on makeup.
