When it comes to their priorities, life insurance is towards the bottom of the list for Millennials. In fact, a study from insurance technology provider Vertafore has revealed that 18-35-year-olds would rather spend on travel, a fine dining experience, or a cell phone before purchasing life insurance. It’s not that they don’t see the value, 77% understand that not having insurance is risky, but according to Life Happens, they’re misinformed about cost of coverage, with 30-year-olds and younger estimating that life insurance costs three times more than it actually does.
