Apple is getting into the original TV series business—focusing on music. Apple Music’s SVP reports they have the fastest-growing subscription service, with more than 20 million subscribers. The brand plans to take advantage of their unique music platform to differentiate themselves from giants like Netflix and Amazon. Along with a series based on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, they’re releasing an unscripted reality TV series about developing apps that will be accompanied with an actual app for a more “immersive experience.” (TechCrunch)
