Millennials are putting more money towards coffee than they are retirement. A new survey from investing app Acorns has revealed that 45% of 18-23-year-olds and 35% of 25-35-year-olds have spent more on coffee than invested in their retirement, most likely because 55% of all Millennials don’t feel “savvy” when it comes to investing. With social security becoming less of a sure thing, experts are advising Millennials to start saving up—but it might take a different approach to get them to take the leap into investing. (USA Today)
