Teens are presenting a new set of challenges for marketers, as they reveal themselves to be distinctly different from Millennials. Our upcoming trend Teen Snapshot revealed that over six in ten of 13-17-year-olds don’t remember a time before the recession, which has them wary and frugal. They value their privacy while expecting brands to be as transparent as possible, and are “impatient of brands that don't offer them connected experiences.” Growing up with technology has also made them develop preferences for collaboration through platforms, and visual-first digital communication.
