After learning the past three years have sparked a 500% rise in social conversations on the “disappointment at the decline of split-screen gaming,” (games that allow multiple gamers to play on the same TV) the brand put together a split-screen battle between YouTube gamers and grime stars—all gathered on a food-holding, light up “Colonel’s couch.” The event was streamed live on both Facebook and Twitch, and reached 2.7 million people—the highest organic reach ever for a KFC video.
