Millennials are chasing their American dream of buying a home. According to FirstTimeHomeFinancing, Millennials—65% of whom associate achieving the American Dream with owning a home—are very interested in purchasing homes but have some obstacles to overcome beforehand: 62% of 18-34-year-olds say they have less than $1000 saved, and 69% would rather wait to save up and buy a longer-term home.
