Following their announcement that 17-year-old makeup artist James Charles as their “first-ever male spokesmodel,” the brand has added Muslim beauty blogger Nura Afia—known for her makeup tutorials in hijab—as one of their new beauty ambassadors. The blogger says she never thought she would see “Muslim women represented on such a large scale,” and is now featured in a billboard in Times Square for CoverGirl #LashEquality campaign.
