The online wine boutique sells only a limited number of wines from high-quality, small producers, basing their strategy on Millennial wine drinkers trading up: according to Wine Market Council 17% are willing to pay over $20 for a bottle of wine. Despite the premium selection, the brand presents their wine with a clean and fresh aesthetic, and uses informative but fun descriptions. The design is meant to target young female drinkers, as two-thirds of high frequency wine drinkers under the age of 30 are reportedly women.
