Google’s latest experimental app is like Snapchat for virtual reality. With Sprayscape, users can take a 360-degree snapshot of their surroundings for in-the-moment sharing. Unlike other cameras that can create 360-degree photo and video, the app is embracing the “perfectly imperfect” approach: users can choose the parts of their surrounding they want to capture, ultimately creating an unfocused and blurry picture. Friends can then experience the photo by “dragging their finger around the frame, holding up their phone to view different parts of the image, or by popping it in a Cardboard viewer.” (Mashable)
