Target is bringing back Oregon Trail for the nostalgia generation—in the form of a card game. The game, which was originally created in 1971 and is “credited with introducing kids to computers,” will be part of an exclusive line of tabletop games Target is releasing and marketing to adults that are “drinking and socializing with friends.” Sales for the traditional game and puzzles bounced back to an estimated $2.56 billion in 2015, and Target has seen growth in the double digits for board game sales.
