Virtual guests can now be added to the list of trends being ushered in by the new generation of brides and grooms. Virtual-reality-ready 360-video offerings from event companies and photographers are taking off as the technology has become more affordable, giving guests the option to attend ceremonies virtually. Thanks to 360-video, viewers can “enjoy multiple angles from the reception,” and couples can relive their big “I do” moment as if they were there again, even seeing details they missed the first time. The VR and augmented reality market is expected to hit $150 billion in revenue by 2020. (Fast Company)
