Almost two out of three Millennials don’t own a credit card—according to a survey by Bankrate.com. About half of adults over 50 are credit card owners, but Millennials haven’t been as interested in taking on the responsibility. Becoming adults during the recession has not only made them more risk-averse, but in their opinion has already brought enough debt into their lives: “A lot of people who have thousands of dollars in student debt are asking themselves ‘why would I want to add credit card debt to that?’” (MONEY)
