Aerie has expanded their body positivity campaign to include Millennial men. The ads feature a diverse group of men, including a self-proclaimed health nut, a style blogger, and a model, showing off the new line of Aerie men’s underwear. While body positive marketing has been growing in popularity for women, the male market has lagged behind. One of the stars of the #AerieMen campaign tells BuzzFeed, “’I’m glad brands and companies are starting to see the need for male body diversity in fashion…it’s long overdue.’” The popular #AerieReal effort increased sales for the brand by 20% last year.
