Second screen viewing is a Millennial habit. A recent CTA report found 71% of 18-34-year-olds engage with social media while watching video content, compared to 31% of respondents 35 and older, and 70% of Millennials watch content on a second screen during commercials, compared to 38% of older viewers. Gen Xers are the least likely to engage in second screen behaviors. Millennials are also, not surprisingly, more likely than older viewers to watch short and long-form content on laptops, phones, and tablets. (StreamDaily)
