Hoverboards (aka Electric Two-Wheel Scooters) were expected to be a seriously hot gift for Millennials and teens this year, but now they’re hot in a much more undesirable, literal way. Amazon is now pulling all hoverboards after reports of the gadget’s batteries causing fires, and in some cases triggering explosions. The online retailer states, “for the time being, we are not recommending any hoverboards until they are proven to be safe.” (The Daily Beast)
