Personalized children’s products are helping parents capture kids’ attention without the “bells and whistles” of a digital device. Lost My Name, a Google-backed children’s book with a story that centers around the readers’ own name, has “injected more magic,” back into the act of reading. The customized book has sold over one million copies since its release two years ago, and created books for 97,827 different names. The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home, customized to the postcode of a family’s home, is the second book to be released in the series. (The Guardian)
