YouTube has a new music app, and “it’s a game changer.” YouTube Music launched this week, and was created to optimize music search and to provide options that other music apps don’t currently have. The service surfaces not just licensed audio tracks, but live concert footage and karaoke tracks, creates daily playlists for users, and suggests new playlists based on taste. YouTube Red subscribers are given an ad-free experience with even more perks. (The Verge)
