According to Pew’s most recent numbers, a record 36.4% of women 18-34-years-old are living with parents or family members—but that’s actually less than the number of males of the same age living at home. As New York Magazine put it: “42.8 Percent of Millennial Men Have to Make Sure Their Mom Is Out Before You Can Do It.” (They said it, not us.) Young people enrolled in college are more likely to live at home, so it should be noted that many of these Millennials might still be in school. (NYMag, Bloomberg)
