Target’s new consumer target is Millennial families. The retailer’s CEO says that while suburban moms in minivans still visit stores, their focus has shifted to appeal to younger families and urban shoppers, including Hispanic customers. Meeting the needs of the “digitally connected shopper” who uses their smartphone in-store, and creating versions of the Target experience in cities are priorities for the brand. (Bloomberg)
