Millennials are frustrated by their own stereotypes. According to a study in the UK, 16-24-year-olds are getting tired of the “popular narrative that they are shallow and materialistic.” Millennials surveyed rated the accuracy of their portrayal as 4.4 out of 10, indicating that they’re not seeing their realities reflected in marketing or entertainment, and that “rands have been relatively slow to move beyond reductive stereotypes.” (Marketing Magazine)
