Younger consumers are not only more likely to trust online ads than older generations, they’re more likely to trust nearly all kinds of advertisements. According to Nielsen, 21-34-year-olds show the highest levels of trust for ads on TV, in newspapers and magazines, brand sponsorships, product placement, and product placement. Of course, the type of “advertising” that all generations trust the most is recommendations from people they know. (Nielsen)
