Remember that 13-year-old whose essay about teens not using Facebook went viral, and helped spark some of the panic that young users were fleeing the site? Yeah, she’s 15 now and uses Facebook all the time, because all her friends do. In a new essay for Mashable, she writes that Facebook has become a huge part of her academic life as a high-schooler as a place to connect with classmates and find out about homework. However, she doesn’t “use Facebook to post about [her] life.” (Mashable)
