A Texas teen has been catapulted into the media spotlight after his science project got him arrested. Fourteen-year-old Ahmed Mohamed built his own clock to impress his teacher, but that teacher mistook the project for a bomb and called the police. Now the internet, and some major, major public figures are showing their support. An #IStandWithAhmed campaign has spread rapidly, resulting in over 370,000 tweets so far, and Mark Zuckerberg, Hillary Clinton, and President Obama have all tweeted their support of Ahmed—who will be visiting the White House with his clock next month.
